We provide medically based and researched osteopathic manipulation, chiropractic care, Shockwave therapy, Class IV (high energy) Medical Laser therapy, radial shockwave, and High Energy Inductive Therapy (HEIT) alone or in combination to treat most musculoskeletal conditions resulting from injuries, overuse, or degenerative changes. We use manipulative therapy and our modalities to help active people and athletes stay active and heal the common minor injuries that occur. If you are a healthy person and desire spinal manipulation to maintain spinal and musculoskeletal well-being, we offer services for that as well.
Our goal at Spine and Extremities Center is to improve your life and help you enjoy the things you are missing out on due to your condition. Often a person can (and does) go decades with low back pain, heel pain, a “bad” knee, or a sore elbow. You may know someone who suffers from headaches and has cancelled or limited enjoyable activities with friends or family due to their pain.
Many times, patients who suffer from these problems do not even realize how much they have subconsciously changed their lifestyle to work around their condition because the changes can be so subtle over time. Then once they are properly treated, they realize what they were missing out on. We strive to have patients say things like “you know, I was playing with my kids and it wasn’t until later I realized my shoulder wasn’t bothering me, it’s been years since I’ve had freedom from that pain. It always was on my mind. I forgot what it was like before the pain started.”
Our mission is to help you enjoy your life by reducing your pain, increasing your mobility, and helping you relearn how to enjoy your life again with less limitations and pain. For athletes and active adults, we want to get you back into your sport or activities as fast as possible by accelerating healing and identifying mobility or movement disorders that if left untreated may result in repeated injuries or an incompletely healed injury.
We offer a mix of insurance and self-pay services. This decision was made after considering many factors from both the patient and provider perspectives. From the patient perspective, we are in a time of increasing co-pays, co-insurance, higher deductibles, and refusal for third party payors to cover provided services. These factors result in a large percentage of patients "paying cash" for their care even when using insurance based providers.
Several of our advanced modalities are not covered by insurance and are offered on a self-pay basis. We chose to offer these services to patients who have conditions amenable to treatment and desire treatment outside of their insurance covered services.
